(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Being the Strategic Partner in Oman Legends Cup, Omantel will host Real Madrid and Barcelona team players at its head quarter in Mawaleh on Thursday, on the sidelines of the legends match, which will be on March 14 at the Sultan Qaboos complex.
Omantel has prepared a schedule with a mixture of sports, touristic and entertainment to welcome the teams. A small stadium will be made for the players to do a football show. Hamdan al Harrasi, general manager, corporate communications, Omantel, said, ''We are pleased with our strategic partnership with Oman Legends Cup, which combines Spain's famous football teams Real Madrid and Barcelona in line with Omantel's continued support to the sport activities being held in the sultanate. This match is considered as one of the biggest sport activities in the sultanate, which will contribute also to presenting our country internationally. Part of our partnership, we are hosting the team players from both teams in our head quarter with variety of traditional and entertainment activities.''
''Our HQ is equipped in such way to reflect the nature of the sports to allow greater opportunity for our staff and guests to spend time with the players as well as taking memorial pictures with their favourite ones. The press conference will also be held with the presence of both team's coaches. Through this meeting, we seek to communicate with our customers and the football lovers, specially the youth who used to enjoy watching the legends matches, but this time the experience would be different by watching them live on the stadium and retrieving the old legends memories,'' he added.
Harrasi has also indicated that mantel will offer free Wi-Fi service at the stadium which will allow the pubic to stay in touch with their loved ones as well as update their profile on social media channels.
