(MENAFN) FCC announced that it won a USD701.5 million contract to build a section of Doha Metro red line, The Peninsula Qatar reported
The consortium led by FCC also includes Archirodon from Greece, Y"ksel from Turkey and Petroserv Ltd from Qatar
The contract includes the construction of three elevated stations in addition to a 6.97 kilometer section and tunnelizing the road at the entrance to Al Wakrah
The execution period is estimated at 31 months and the project is to provide 1,000 jobs
