Iran's Foreign Investment Committee to launch USD35 m projects


(MENAFN) Iran"s Foreign Investment Committee plans to launch USD35 million worth projects, according to Iran Daily



The announcement was revealed in the Foreign Investment Committee 184th meeting by the head of the Organization for Investment and Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI)



One of the projects will be made by Chinese investors at the cost USD1.7 million in Iran's textile industry of Arvand Free Trade Zone (AFTZ).



Behrouz Alishiri said: "Domestic private investors, due to lack of monetary resources, could only implement 50 percent of the cigarette production project of West Azarbaijan province. However, by attracting foreign investments worth $2.15 million, they will be able to complete the project.
