(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad Abdulaziz Al Kuwari has praised as "successful" the Qatar UK 2013 by all standards at culture, economy and politics levels.
HE the Minister Dr. Al Kuwari said during his meeting today with UK Ambassador to Qatar Nicholas Hopton , and representatives of the parties that participated in the cultural activities of Qatar UK 2013, that the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with cultural institutions in the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom had organized many events which enhanced the relations between the two countries politically and economicall
HE the Minister extended thanks all those who participated in ( Qatar UK 2013 ) , especially the Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) , led by HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, who had made constructive and sustained efforts for the success of the celebration
For his part, the UK Ambassador to Qatar Nicholas Hopton also praised the success of cultural cooperation between the two countries and extended thanks to the State of Qatar, the Ministry of Culture, Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) and other institutions that created the opportunity for the British public to learn about the Qatari culture, pointing out that this year's event has cemented the cultural and political relations between the two countries, which he said would increase the depth of relationships and achieve greater cooperation in various fields
