Galfar employs over 5,000 Omanis

Galfar is one of the largest employers of Omani nationals (more than 5,000) in all facets of its operations. Engineer Rashid bin Abdullah al Mukhaini embarked on his career as processing and maintenance engineer in December 2008, and since then has worked his way forward in various sectors. In the post of ‘Initial Operation Engineer', in the ‘Harweel Project for oil and gas isolation', a prominent project in oil and gas sector, Rashid was involved with a professional team of engineers and actively participated in technical operations of the project and exhibited relentless desire to upgrade his abilities and hone his technical skills.


Eng Mukhaini believes, utilized the ample opportunity provided to him to remarkably improve his level of performance in execution of large projects. He thus proved to be one of the most dependable engineers in processing and executing the operational and technical systems in order to achieve the necessary quality that Galfar Engineering and Contracting is known for. Eng Mukhaini had the opportunity to work with leading companies in the field of oil and gas, such as PDO and Petrofac, where he gained substantial knowledge and expertise from experienced Engineers who helped him in developing his performance.


Eng. Abdullah also adds that his work along with engineers from different nationalities and cultures helped him and would further encourage him to continually build greater confidence to perform even better. Eng Mukhaini remains positive regarding Galfar's stance in the processes, training and qualifications of its employees and new recruits integrating and encouraging and preparing Omani engineers as leaders and managers for larger projects in the future.
