Oman Housing Bank hails Home Show


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Having delivered yet another outstanding edition of the Home Show, the organisers Global Exhibitions and Conferences (GEC) have been receiving exhibitors, sponsors and strategic partners who have been unstinting in their admiration for the growing standards of this hugely popular annual trade show.


The recently concluded third edition of GEC's flagship expo was a resounding success by all accounts. Record footfalls had the great majority of exhibitors in excellent cheer throughout the three-day event, with many prominent participants having since confirmed their presence at this year's instalment well in advance of the event, which takes place from October2 7 to 29 . Gratified by the overwhelming success of the past Home Shows, Oman Housing Bank (OHB) presented a memento to GEC in recognition of the excellent organisation and superior standards of the show.


The wholly government-owned lending institution showcased its portfolio of low-interest housing finance schemes available to Omanis, at the trade fair. Mohammed al Balushi, assistant manager – marketing and public relations, presented the memento on behalf of the bank to GEC's projects director, Clemento Fernandes.


Applauding GEC on the successful delivery of a first-rate expo, Balushi said, ''Right since inception of the Home Show, it has indeed been an excellent association with the organisers. The Home Show provided us with a perfect platform to reach out to our customer base, as well to showcase our vision and strategy for helping Omanis achieve their aspirations to own their own affordable homes. The impressive turnout was a testament to a show that was professionally organised and superbly executed.''


Receiving the bank's token of appreciation, Fernandes said, ''My colleagues and I are truly heartened by Oman Housing Bank's kind gesture. It represents a robust vote of confidence in GEC's abilities to deliver a successful expo that generates tangible benefits to the exhibitors through sales, brand positioning, and optimum exposure, while offering good value products and services to consumers. The memento gives us further impetus to lay on a better edition of The Home Show later this year.''


Other leading exhibitors were also generous in their praise for the expo. M R Kamat, senior divisional manager, Khimji Permoglaze. said, ''The Home Show's broad focus, encompassing all facets of the real estate, housing development and home ownership industry, was an opportunity for us to zero in on a wide cross section of our target audience. We look forward to once again being part of this impressive show when it is held later this year.''
