Spain's economic growth forecasted at 1.2 percent in 2014


(MENAFN) The Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) expects Spain's economy to expand by 1.2 percent this year, Xinhua reported



The CEOE had previously forecasted that the country's economic growth would be at 0.9 percent



Job creation in the country will begin recovery this year, with CEOE expecting that 110,300 new jobs will be added in 2014 and an additional 218,900 next year



The unemployment rate in Spain will improve from 25.1 percent in 2014 to 23.8 percent in 2015, as the number of unemployed people will drop from 5.6 million to 5.3 million in 2015



The country's deficit in 2015 will be around 5.4 percent, above government forecasts of 4.2 percent
