(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) A training course on writing economic and financial news and reports kicked off at Qatar News Agency (QNA) headquarters on Monday morning. The training is part of a series of training course organized by QNA Media Relations Department aiming at the rehabilitation and training of cadres working in the media field. The three-day course aims at introducing the concept of economic media and its important role in spreading economic awareness, and training the participants on the basics of writing economic press releases and news stories. The training also includes workshops to provide the participants with the skills to deal with the economic and financial institutions and the skills to deal with the numbers; as well as practical training on writing economic press releases. The training courses, organized by Qatar News Agency, come in implementation of the Emiri Dicision No. (51) for 2009, which mandated Qatar News Agency to hold training courses for Qatari media professionals in order to improve their capabilities through continuous training and development program
