Ooredoo Chairman Appointed A Member of World Bank's Advisory Council


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ooredoo Board of Directors'Chairman HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Thani was appointed member of the World Bank's Advisory Council on Gender equality and development, Ooredoo announced in a press release issued here on Monday. This appointment is the first of its kind to a representative of the Middle East in the membership of the said Council , the press release noted . The World Bank's Advisory Council on Gender equality and development is an international body concerning with gender equality in various areas around the world. It quoted HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Thani, as saying, "Ooredoo is supporting human development in all its aspects ..." I will do my best through my membership at the World Bank's Advisory Council on Gender equality and development and through Ooredoo's initiatives to help women to use mobile technology to improve conditions of their daily lives, " said HE Ooredoo Board of Directors'Chairman.
