Bringing together over 7000 educational professionals and 300 exhibitors from 35 countries taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 4th to 6th March, GESS. Visitors to the exhibition and forum are being introduced to the Horouf's ground-breaking educational applications, which are on display at Samsung stand in GESS. Samsung provides the smartphones and tablets that integrate Horouf applications and support these applications through its application store.
Tamer Saeed, Business Development Manager at Kalimat Group, said that the participation is part of the group's strategy to familiarise teachers and educators with Horouf's e-learning programme and its smart applications, as it is the first of its kind programme in the Arab world that provides Arabic language e-learning solutions for students. He clarified that Horouf state-of-the-art and integrated educational system designed in the Arabic language to enable children to build and improve their capabilities to keep pace with the requirements of future development.
He added: "The 7th edition of the Global Education Forum being held alongside the GESS under the theme 'The 21st Century: Skills, Opportunities and Challenges' is an ideal platform for us to introduce our efforts in the use of the most widespread technologies to support smart learning in the Arabic language"
Kalimat Publishing Group signed an agreement with leading mobile technology providers Samsung, in October 2013, which will see Samsung provide technological solutions to support smart learning in Arabic language by facilitating the implementation of the e-learning programs of Horouf.
Under the terms of the agreement Samsung, who will be the exclusive technology partner of Kalimat Group, undertakes to provide tablets, smartphones and charging lockers for classroom use on an annual basis for a period of five years. They will also be providing Kalimat Group with their mobility products and will be offering the Horouf application in its application store. Samsung will also be collaborating with Kalimat Group in providing training courses for teachers
