New Zealand manufacturing sales up 5.7 percent in Q4


(MENAFN) Manufacturing sales in New Zealand during the last quarter of 2013 logged a record increase on the back of dairy and meat products manufacturing sales, Xinhua reported



The government's statistics agency said that total manufacturing sales surged 5.7 percent in the quarter, as meat and dairy product manufacturing sales increased 15 percent



The industry and labor statistics manager said: "The large meat and dairy volume increase is also seen in export volume rises for dairy and meat products.



Total manufacturing sales, excluding meat and dairy, increased 0.9 percent in the fourth quarter, after a 2.9 percent increase in the quarter before it
