Canada hopes to finalize free trade agreement with S. Korea


(MENAFN) The Canadian Prime Minister said that he hope to finalize a free trade agreement with South Korea during a visit to the country this week, The Arabian Business reported



"We will be hoping to finalise a Canada-Korea free trade agreement," The Prime Minister said



Canada is aiming diversify exports away from the US and has been targeting Asian economies for long time



The Canadian Trade Ministry said that exports to South Korea in 2012 hit USD3.3 billion while imports from the country came at USD5.7 billion in the year
