The firm said that its profit in the period went down to USD4.7 million, versus a profit of USD7 million in the first half
The company, which operates in Botswana and Lesotho, said that its loss came mainly as the result of the closure of its pilot plant at Liqhobong, Lesotho
Non-Executive Chairman of Firestone said: "The production, prior to the closure of the Pilot Plant, was from lower grade ore blocs and stockpiled low grade material.
