Driscoll dashes to lead in Puerto Rico

(MENAFN- Kora) Driscoll, a two-time loser in play-offs on the PGA Tour, moved into 12 under at the Trump International Golf Club, as he continues to chase his maiden title

Another American in Chesson Hadley was similarly impressive as a seven-under 65 helped him into outright second a shot back

Eric Axley (66) is at 10 under, a shot clear of a group of four players € including American Jonathan Byrd (66)

Ben Martin (67), Wes Roach (66) and New Zealander Danny Lee (68) are the others in a tie for fourth

Driscoll starred, with his front nine featuring two birdies and an eagle at the par-five fifth

He continued his hot run on the back nine, holing five birdies including one on the par-five 18th hole

Hadley's round was ruined by back-to-back bogeys on the 16th and 17th, while Axley bogeyed the par-four 13th

Overnight leader Brian Stuard could only manage a one-under 71 after opening with a 66 to be tied for 16th at seven under

Spain's Alvaro Quiros and Argentine Miguel Angel Carballo were among those to miss the cut.
