He will face Son Wan Ho in the last four after the South Korean upset Japanese fifth seed Kenichi Tago 21-15 21-17



The other semi-final will be an all-Chinese one after Wang Zhengming and second seed Chen Long progressed



Chen battled past Dane Hans-Kristian Vittinghus 18-21 21-11 21-14 while Wang played out the longest match in the men's single draw so far



Wang needed one hour and 23 minutes to edge South Korean Dong Keun Lee 21-13 16-21 21-17



In the women's draw, Li brushed past South Korean fifth seed Sung Ji Hyun 21-17 21-18 and plays Ratchanok Intanon in the semis after the Thai third seed beat Canadian Michelle Li 23-21 21-16



Second seed Wang Yihan thrashed South Korean sixth seed Bae Yeon Ju 21-8 21-13 and faces Chinese countrywoman Wang Shixian next after the fourth seed overcame Indian seventh seed Saina Nehwal 21-17 21-10.
