Northampton book Anglo-Welsh Cup final spot

(MENAFN - Kora) George Pisi was the star of the show for the 2010 winners at Franklin's Gardens as he completed a hat-trick in the second half to complete a comfortable victory

Saracens struggled to get out the blocks and Northampton moved ahead early thanks to the boot of Will Hooley

The fly-half kicked two penalties in the opening 10 minutes to put his side 6-0 ahead, however Saracens rallied and eventually their pressure paid off as Benjamin Ransom ran in their only try of the game in the 20th minute

Ben Spencer kicked the conversion to ensure Saracens went into the break 7-6 ahead as they eyed making the final for the first time since 1998

Northampton refused to lie down though, and 13 minutes into the second half Pisi ran in the first of his tries

The conversion was missed but six minutes later Stephen Myler made no mistake with a drop goal to extend their lead

An excellent second-half display was capped off by two further tries from Pisi with Myler converting the second to ensure their place in the final, where they will meet the winners of second semi-final between Bath and Exeter Chiefs
