OSCE Military Observers in Third Push to Enter Crimea


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Military observers of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) have tried to enter Ukraine's Crimean peninsula for the third time in three days to verify Russian military activity there, the OSCE says.



"We are going to keep trying all different routes and use all diplomatic means" until the mission's mandate ends on Wednesday, OSCE spokeswoman Cathie Burton says.



The observers were denied entry to the Russia-controlled peninsula on Thursday at Armyansk by pro-Russian armed militia, and at several additional checkpoints on Friday, dpa reporte
