Egyptian Stock Exchange losses EGP 3.1 bln in last week trading


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Egyptian Stock Exchange's market's capitalization lost EGP 3.1 billion in last week's trading, as the main indices fell en masse



The stock market weekly report showed that the benchmark EGX30 index fell by 2.19 percent to settle at 7950 points



The EGX 70 index for small and medium shares lost 0.9 percent reaching 645 points. The EGX 100 index lost about 1.38 percent of its value and registered 1,104 points at the closing



The data also showed that the market capitalization have lost EGP 3.1 billion to stand at EGP 488.6 billion



The traded value was estimated at EGP 7.9 billion and the traded volume stood at 1.57 billion shares
