Cement demand in Oman to grow 6 percent annually


(MENAFN) Cement demand in Sultanate of Oman is expected to grow in the upcoming few years, Times of Oman reported



Huge infrastructure and tourism projects in the Gulf nation will push cement demand by an annual rate of 6 percent in the following 4 years



A research report by Al Maha Financial Service said: Hence according to industry sources, cement demand in Oman is expected to rise in line with that in the region, at an average annual rate of six per cent through 2016.



Contracts value in all of the country's sectors is projected to surge nearly 100 percent this year to USD12.6 billion from USD6.7 billion in 2013
