Australia's trade surplus hits USD1.2b


(MENAFN) The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) said that the trade surplus in the country hit its highest since August 2011 in January, Xinhua reported



The ABS said that Australia's trade surplus hit USD1.26 billion in the first month of 2014



Goods and services' balance came at a surplus of 1.4 billion in the month, increasing USD759 million, or 142 percent, from the month before it



Exports of goods and services in January increased 4 percent to USD29.7 billion, while imports of goods and services increased 1 percent to USD28.3 billion
