Japan deposits USD450m in Iran's central bank


(MENAFN) Japan has reportedly made a payment to Iran for crude imports under an interim nuclear deal, The Peninsula Qatar reported



Japan has deposited USD450 million in funds owed for oil imported from Iran in a Central Bank of Iran (CBI) account



International sanctions on Iran have caused the country's oil export to drop by 50 percent



Iran won access to USD4.2 billion of its frozen oil revenues if the country carries out its part of the agreement and curbed its nuclear program
