India still has not made payments to Iran for oil


(MENAFN) India is yet to make oil payments to Iran under the recent nuclear deal which gave Tehran some relief from Western sanctions, The Peninsula Qatar reported



The Iranian oil ministry denied reports that India deposited a portion of the money owed for oil imports in the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) account



The report cited noted that the head of international affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company said that India had paid 45 percent of the money in Indian rupees and 55 percent in euros
