Air passenger traffic in Oman to increase in coming years


(MENAFN) Air passenger traffic in Oman is expected to grow at an annual rate of 7.5 percent in the years between 2012 and 2017, Times of Oman reported



The Gulf in general acts as central aviation hub and a key link between the eastern and the western worlds as it is located at an eight-hour flying distance from two thirds of the world's population



Managing director of Alpen Capital said: "Having grown steadily over the last two decades, the GCC aviation industry has outperformed most of the other regional markets.
