China to invest in Iran's mineral industries
(MENAFN) Iran has opened the doors for Chinese companies to make investments in the fields of mineral exploration, according to Iran Daily
A Chinese delegation visited Tehran on Monday and met with Deputy Industries, Mines and Trade Minister Ja"far Serqini who stressed on the active role of Chinese firms in Iran's iron ore processing
He said: "Iran extracts annually about 400 million tons of various minerals. "According to statistics, Iran is the top steel producer of Middle East and ranks 15th in the world.
