S. Korea's GM sales fall 18 percent in February


(MENAFN) Sales of GM Korea Co., the local unit of General Motors Co. of the United States, have dropped by 18 percent in February compared to the same period in 2013 on the back of weak overseas demand, according to Qatar News Agency



The company's sales reached a total of 48,007 vehicles last month, down from 58,574 units sold in February 2013



GM's domestic sales rose by 3.3 percent year-on-year to reach 10.301 units after demand for steady-selling models grew as the Aveo subcompact



The company said sales marked the highest numbers reached for the month of February since 2004
