New Zealand's new car sales up 14 percent in Feb


(MENAFN) The New Zealand Motor Industry Association (MIA) said that new car sales in the country registered a record for the fifth consecutive month in February, Xinhua reported



New car sales came at a total of 9,058 units in the month, increasing 1,111 units, or 14 percent, from the month before it



New commercial vehicle sales hit 2,567 units, up 19.2 percent from the corresponding month a year before



MIA chief executive officer said: "New vehicle registrations for February 2014 remain strong with another record month for sales of commercial vehicles.
