(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) China announced that its reserves of oil and gas have increased to 1.084 billion ton in 2013. According to the Chinese Ministry of Land and Resources, proven oil and gas reserves in China increased substantially last year and the production increased steadily as well. The proven oil reserves achieved significant growth by increasing 616.4 billion cubic meters in 2013. For production, last year's national oil output reached 210 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.4 percent.
