UAE condemns terror attacks on Pakistan polio teams


(MENAFN-Khaleej Times) The UAE on Saturday condemned in the strongest possible terms the terrorist bomb blasts on Saturday in Pakistan?s north-western tribal region, killing 12 and injuring 12 policemen who were guarding polio vaccinators

“The terrorist blast reveals the cruelty of its perpetrators,” Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in a statement, expressing the UAE’s solidarity with the government of Pakistan in its efforts to combating the terrorism. Shaikh Abdullah called on other countries to stand together in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.


He also expressed his heart-felt condolences to Pakistani government and the bereaved families of the victims. He also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
