Football: Four New Players to Make Debut in Germany Friendly


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Germany national team coach Joachim Loew decided Friday to pick four of players to feature for the first time in the squad, in next week's friendly against Chile



A surprising four newcomers are in the Germany squad for the friendly against Chile next week. Loew has four if his stars injured; they are Bastian Schweinsteiger, Miroslav Klose, Kevin Grosskreutz and Lukas Podolski. In their absence Loew decided to call on the services of two defenders, one attacking midfielder and one forward; Sampdoria defender Shkodran Mustafi, defender Matthias Ginter of Freiburg, attacking midfielder Andre Hahn and striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga.



Loew left out a number of key players including Marco Reus and Schalke's Julian Draxler. Other star players injured include Ilkay Gundogan and Thomas Muller of Bayern.
