Foreign investments in energy to hit USD100 b in Iran


(MENAFN) Iran is expected to welcome USD100 billion worth investments in its energy sector in the coming four years, according to Iran Daily



The announcement was revealed by Mehdi Hosseini, an advisor to Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh on oil contracts, on Wednesday



Hosseini added that Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC) has removed all problems that existed in oil contracts over the past 20 years



He said: "Iran enjoys lots of attractions for investment in the oil sector and, therefore, with the resolution of the contract"s problem, the grounds will be prepared for the renewed presence of big oil companies in the country.
