(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met here today with the chairman of Russian State Duma, Sergey Naryshkin and discussed the latest developments in the peace process and efforts exerted to push it forward, WAFA news agency reported. Abbas praised the strong relations between the Palestinian-Russian leaderships and the continuous Russian support to the Palestinian people in all fields. On his part, Naryshkin stressed his countries strong support to the peace process based on the two-state solution in order to establish an independent state of Palestinian living side by side in stability and security with Israel. He stressed Russa's keenness to strengthen the friendly relations with the Palestinian people and their leadership to serve the interest of both countries.
