Chief economist at Credit Agricole Private Banking said: "The hydrocarbon-based GCC economies displayed rates of GDP increases high enough to define these countries as a pocket of above average growth.
The chief said that the outlook for GCC economies remained promising after the countries registered above average GDP growth last year
