This Declaration illustrates the importance the two countries attach to the consolidation of intercultural dialogue as an essential tool to promote tolerance and peace, and as a source of social and economic development, Morocco news agency (MAP) It encourages stakeholders in both countries, including civil society, universities, local authorities, and tourism professionals to implement initiatives to promote shared cultural heritage projects, including "The history of Islamic Architectural Heritage in Europe" and "The History of European Heritage in North Africa and the Middle East." The Declaration was signed by Minister-delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida, and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, following talks between the two officials.
