French Lafarge profit increases 65 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) Net profit of French cement giant Lafarge saw a slight recovery in 2013 and said that demand on its products for the construction industry was improving, according to Gulf News



The company's operating profit dropped on unfavorable exchange rates



Net profit was estimated at USD827 million on the back of the growing asset sales compared to USD501.57 million in 2012



Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) fell by 9.0 percent USD4.259 billion
