Bubble Trouble, a UAE-based food and soft drink company, has announced the launch of two new ranges of drinks — Bubble Tea and Snow ICE — in the Gulf market.
Muhammad Saeed Mirza, CEO of Bubble Trouble, said the innovative healthy drinks that have gained popularity in South East Asia, North America, the UK and Australia would be distributed across the region through franchise partners.
“We have already opened four kiosks in Dubai, including three outlets at metro stations. The fourth kiosk is at the Reef Mall.
“With many new locations in pipeline, we are targeting at 200 outlets of Bubble Trouble in the next five years in the Middle East region,” said Mirza.
He said his company had already started talks on finalising the master franchisee in Oman and Kuwait.
Invented in the early 1980s and manufactured by the Sunny Syrup Company of Taiwan, Bubble Tea is the name given to the wide variety of refreshing flavoured fruit tea and milk tea served with chewy natural tapioca balls, said Mirza.
“This drink has the natural antioxidants of tea and the positive effects of tapioca which is regarded as a good source of carbohydrates and iron. It is a healthy drink as the base of the drink is mostly fruit teas and milk which does not contain any kind of artificial chemicals or gases or flavors unlike many other carbonated drinks available in the market. Bubble Tea is available in various fun flavors which will keep you cool and hydrated during the hot weather of UAE,” he said.
Snow Ice is also very popular in the South Asian region, the Americas and Europe. Both drinks are ideal for the region’s hot climate, said Mirza.
