(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Cote d'Ivoire international footballer Souleymane 'Sol' Bamba, who plays for Turkish Super Lig Club Trabzonspor, is currently recuperating at Aspetar following treatment for an ankle injury.



Praising the care he has received at Aspetar, Bamba said, "Aspetar is a fantastic sports medicine hospital that caters to the specific injuries and subsequent needs of athletes, and it does this all while maintaining a high level of service.



The defender underwent surgery to correct the injury that has plagued the footballer since the start of the seaso



Bamba is now receiving comprehensive rehabilitation treatment at Aspetar, and promises to return to the pitch in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil this summe



"Brazil will be our third World Cup tournament and we are in group C, which is not an easy one to be in," Bamba continue

Bamba's treatment at Aspetar comes as part of an agreement signed between the hospital and the Ivory Coast Football Association last mont
