(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) HE undersecretary of Economy and Commerce Sultan bin Rashid Al-Khater, has said that Qatar , under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, has achieved sustainable development via adopting economic policies based on empowering the private sector to play a greater role in the development process as well as encouraging and stimulating entrepreneurs self-initiatives through creating an appropriate environment so as to promote and prosper the entrepreneurship sector .

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the forum on entrepreneurship's role in economic development, Al-Khater reiterated that the state of qatar has attached a special attention to encourage and ensure making the initiatives of the Young Entrepreneurs successful through small and medium scale enterprises which are considered the backbone of a vibrant and a diverse and sustainable economy in order to realize goals of Qtar National Vision 2030

HE undersecretary of Economy and Commerce stated that the state has established Qatar's small and medium- size enterprise company with a view to encouraging the establishment of such projects and the development of the existing ones and to raise proportions of its contribution to the GD

HE Al-Khater stressed the important of finding a technical support and training as well as providing financial support through direct and indirect channels and the infrastructure development as entrepreneurship incubators so as to encourage initiative's spirit and enterprises developmen

He further said that the entrepreneurs' new ideas are creating a new reality that has impact on the national production rates as well as creating a new kind of consumer's taste through their supply and demand offer from goods and services by innovative and active techniques in the local and external market
