Saudi Cabinet Welcomes UN Security Council Resolution on Syria


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Saudi Council of Ministers welcomed the unanimous passing by the UN Security Council on Saturday of a resolution demanding the lifting of the siege on Syrian cities, stopping the attacks and raids on civilians and facilitating the entry of humanitarian convoys.



The cabinet hopes this decision will contribute to alleviating the tragedy of the Syrian people and achieving their aspirations to ensure sparing their lives, stability, unity and sovereignty of the Syrian territories , Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monda



The council reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation of the two terrorist bombings which took place in Beirut recently and claimed a number of innocent live



The Minister of Health and Acting Minister of Culture and Information said that based on royal directives, the council was briefed during its meeting held here today on a number of topics and took the following decisions.
