Egypt's Interim Cabinet Resigns


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Egypt's government has submitted its resignation to interim President Adly Mansour, Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi revealed Monday in a press conference, according to the semi-official Middle East News Agency (MENA). "The cabinet has over the past six or seven months shouldered a very difficult responsibility... in most cases the results were good," Beblawi said. He added that he and his cabinet worked to take Egypt out of a "narrow tunnel" that resulted from security, political and economic pressures. The resigning cabinet will carry on its duties until a successor is named for Beblawi who cancelled a scheduled visit to Nigeri
