(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE the Minister of Awqaf (Endowment) and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al-Kuwari honored the outstanding scholarship students at the Religious Studies Institute at a ceremony held last night at Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Hall in presence of several officials from the Ministry of Awqaf and the Religious Institute.
Commenting on the occasion, chairman of the scholarship students committee Ali Obaid Al-Merri said that the Religious Studies Institute hosts currently more than 200 scholarship students from 22 countrie
He praised the efforts made by the Ministry and Committee to serve, supervise, and follow up the development of the student
He noted that the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs provided the students with all basic and essential services of housing, safeguard, cleanliness, transport and even sports and entertainment hall
For their part, the students extended thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its sponsorship and for providing an appropriate learning environment to help them achieve their goals and aspiration
