(MENAFN - Arab Times) A team of securitymen from the Hawally Security Directorate continued the surprise inspection campaigns in various areas of the governorate, resulting in the arrest of 30 individuals found to have violated the Residency Law and one Asian trading in liquor. In compliance with the instruction of Head of the directorate Brigadier Ghloom Habib to track down those who have violated the law, the team established checkpoints in differe locations




This led to the arrest of 30 expatriates staying illegally in the country, while an Asian turned out to be involved in the sale of liquor with 50 bottles in his possession. Meanwhile in Farwaniya, 108 expatriates were arrested for Residency Law violations and three others for operating a liquor factory. All those arrested were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action
