Tamkeen Holds "A9eel in School" Student Exhibition


(MENAFNEditorial) As part of its efforts to develop Bahraini human capital based on the requirements of the labour market and make Bahrainis the employees of choice, Tamkeen, in partnership with the Ministry of Education at Seef Mall held on Thursday 20 February 2014 the "A9eel in School" exhibition which was officially inaugurated by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalifa, Undersecretary for Resources and Services at the Ministry of Education. During the exhibition, 10 student teams from various secondary schools across Bahrain showcased their projects along with 4 intermediate schools and 4 primary schools



Prior to the exhibition, twenty-nine student teams from Bahrain's secondary schools had presented their business projects to the programme's jury, which selected 10 of them to participate in the exhibition. The student exhibition is part of the final phase of the "A9eel in School" programme, which extends over a full academic semester and covers 12 modules to prepare students for the final phase. The programme ends with an award ceremony in which three teams are declared winners. The three winners will be selected based on public vote and the votes of the jury



The "A9eel in School" programme is part of the efforts of both Tamkeen and the Ministry of Education to develop positive attitudes and practices and instil basic work ethics among Bahraini youths to prepare them for the labour market



The projects this year focused on the development of a practical marketing plan reflecting A9eel's values of Attitude, Attendance, Appearance, Ambition, Acceptance, Accountability, Appreciation
