Iran's production of steel up 13.5 percent in 10 months


(MENAFN) Iran's steel makers have produved about 13.5 million tons of crude steel in ten months beginning from March 21, 2013, according to Tehran Times



This year's production was higher than the 11.9 million tons reported in 2012



Iran ranked first as the biggest producer of crude steel in 2013, reported the World Steel Association



The country"s crude steel output grew by 13.6 percent in December 2013 compared to December 2012, reaching 1.35 million tons
