(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Israeli police on Sunday shot dead a prisoner who barricaded himself inside a jail outside Tel Aviv after shooting and wounding three security guards, according to Israeli reports.
Haaretz newspaper reported that police opened fire after the prisoner, who was serving a life sentence for killing a friend in the United States, refused to give himself in and remained barricaded for several hours inside the Rimonim Prison on the southeastern outskirts of Tel Aviv,
