QC, Morocco Discus Cooperation


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Moroccan Minister of Empowerment and Social Affairs Mohammad Abdul Salam Siddiqui, on Sunday, discussed with officials in Qatar Chamber of Commerce (QC)different aspects of cooperation between Qatari businessmen and their Moroccan counterparts.



QC said in a statement issued here today that during the meeting, the two sides addressed means to promote economic relations especially with regard to the private sector as well as the cooperation in bringing Moroccan labour to work in the State of Qatar in the framework of cooperation between the ministries of labor in the two countrie



Qatar Chamber Vice President Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar said that QC encourages Qatari Businessmen to bring skilled labour from Morocco, if they are qualified to compete in the Qatari labour marke



The Moroccan Minister hailed the renaissance taking place in the State of Qatar at all levels, stressing the importance of strengthening the cooperation relations between the two countries especially in the fields of tourism, agriculture, heritage and crafts. He pointed, in this context, to the Morocco Crafts week which was organized last year in Katara and drew the attention of the Qatari business community
