(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Pakistan and the United States are holding talks in Washington on Monday to enhance cooperation in defence sector. Defence Secretary Asif Yasin Malik will lead the Pakistan delegation at the talks which are part of regular consultation between the defence establishments of two countries, according to Pakistan's (GEO News). The talks are being held in the backdrop of air strikes in North Waziristan and other tribal areas against militant hideouts after the terror incidents in Karachi and Mohmand Agency incidents. A US State Department spokesperson said in Washington that they are holding dialogue with Pakistan government on counter terrorism efforts and building their capacity to fight the menace
