(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman Oasis recently launched Muscat Festival limited edition label at Bait al Zubair Museum.
The launch included the announcement of Oman Oasis being the official water of Muscat Festival. The special edition label was designed by Nofel al Dughaishi and Al Shafei al Farsi who are the winners of the Design Me competition, an initiative launched by Bait al Zubair Museum, Oman Oasis Water and Bandera Events.
Bait al Zubair Museum with Oman Oasis and Bandera Events had announced the competition to design water label for Oman Oasis. Many artists and graphic designers participated in the competition and it was the design of Dughaishi and his colleague Farsi who won the first place. Their designs are now produced as a limited edition for Muscat Festival and are being distributed all over the country.
Hamad al Rasbi, the director of Revenue and Investment of Muscat Municipality, commented ''Muscat Festival 2014 welcomes such initiatives that aim to support the Omani youth. Muscat Festival is a great opportunity for such creativity to shine and find its right audience. Abdullah al Zubair said, ''We wanted to do more than just creating a competition and announcing winners. Therefore, producing the label is an important move as it creates an opportunity for such talents to reach the Omani society.
I would like to thank Muscat Festival officials and Oman Oasis management for their cooperation and hard work to support the talents of the Omani youth.'' He adds ''This initiative is not just to strengthen the winners of the competition. It is also to help us find new creative ways to support the Omani youth and to create new opportunities for them to deliver their creativity to the society.''
