Germany's VW plans to purchase Scania


(MENAFN) German carmaker Volkswagen said that it made a USD9.19 billion offer to buy the remaining 40 percent of Swedish truck manufacturer Scania, The Peninsula Qatar reported



Volkswagen currently own 62.6 percent of Scania and has 90 percent of voting shares in the company



Volkswagen conditions to end up with at least 90 percent of Scania after the purchase as it plans to withdraw the company from the Stockholm stock exchange
