Putin Urges Measures to Stabilize Situation in Ukraine


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) In his telephone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the importance of emergency measures to stabilize the situation in Ukraine, Itar-Tass quoted the Kremlin on Saturday. He stressed the necessity of the work with radical opposition, which "has brought confrontation in Ukraine to an extremely dangerous verge." Meanwhile, an agreement to end the crisis in Ukraine provides for early presidential elections in December 2014, Andrei Klyuyev, Ukraine's presidential administration chief has said earlier.
