Gaza local radio station reported that among those injured was a child who was hit in his head and was in a critical condition
The radio said Israeli soldiers in military posts deliberately and extensively opened fire toward the Palestinian youths, who were close to the nearby fence
The gathered Palestinians were participating in a weekly protest against Israeli separation security fence, including against Israeli occupation's ban of entry of Palestinian farmers
Ambulances were rushed to evacuate those injured, the report noted
